Vintage awarded a Red Star by Star Wine List

Vintage on Tokombaev in Bishkek has become the first — and so far the only — venue in Kyrgyzstan listed in the international Star Wine List guide, with Red Star status.

What is Star Wine List?

One of the best-known international guides to restaurants with outstanding wine lists. You can’t pay to get in: venues are chosen by independent experts and ambassadors who personally assess the wine list, the concept and the way wine is handled.

The Central Asian Star Wine List ambassador reviewed the wine list at Vintage on Tokombaev, and in July we received official confirmation and the Red Star sticker.

Why it matters for Almaty too

Red Star goes to venues with a strong wine concept. It reflects years of work by the whole Vintage team — the same team that selects the wines, trains sommeliers and hosts tastings in Almaty:
