Harsányi — family character and the volcanic terroir of Tokaj
Harsányi Pincészet is located in the historic town of Sárospatak in the Tokaj region. The heart of the estate has been tied to the family since 1850, and today the winery continues to build on the legacy of several generations and to show the diversity of Tokaj’s terroir.
The winery farms 17 hectares in the Királyhegy, Ciróka, Megyer and Kútpatka vineyards. Volcanic soils of rhyolite tuff, clay, andesite and minerals give the wines freshness, structure and expressive minerality.
Harsányi grows Furmint, Hárslevelű and Sárgamuskotály organically. The range includes single-vineyard dry wines, sparkling wines, late harvest, Szamorodni and classic Tokaji Aszú.
