FEATURES

Tasting Notes
The wine is ruby-red in color. The aroma is dominated by notes of ripe cherries, black currant and raspberries, supplemented by light hints of spices and herbs. The taste is fresh and balanced, with a pleasant berry acidity, rounded tannins and a long fruity finish.

Vineyards
Vineyards are located in Austria, mainly in the regions of Lower Austria and Burgenland, where the soils are lime-clay with rocky areas. These conditions are ideal for the Zweigelt variety, providing brightness of aroma and acidity.

Production Method
Ageing is carried out in large oak barrels to preserve freshness and fine structure.

Hand harvest with careful sorting. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, which allows you to preserve the brightness of the fruit profile and the natural freshness of the wine.

Food Pairing
Perfect for poultry dishes, pasta with tomato sauces, pizza, light meat snacks and soft cheeses. It is recommended to serve slightly cooled, at a temperature of 14–16 °C.

wine tasting tips for beginners

Wine is not just a drink — it is a whole experience. Its taste is influenced by serving temperature, the glass, aeration, and even how you take your first sip.

Preparation 🌡️

The right serving temperature is one of the key factors. Red wines 14–18°C, white wines 8–12°C, sparkling wines 6–8°C.

Which glass and how to hold it? 🍷

The best choice is a tulip-shaped glass (350–450 ml) with a narrowed top. Always hold the glass by the stem to avoid warming the wine.

Aeration 💨

Helps open up aromas and flavours. Red wines — 15–40 min before serving, whites and sparkling wines are served immediately after opening.

Quick tip: gently swirl the wine in the glass

Wine Tasting 👄

First sip — small, spread the wine across your palate.

Second sip — assess the balance of sweetness and acidity, fruity and spicy notes.

Aroma 👃

Before sipping, inhale the wine aroma without swirling, then gently swirl and inhale again. Note fruity, spicy, floral and woody notes.
