Bellenda — a new reading of Prosecco Superiore from the heart of Veneto
For more than 30 years Bellenda has made Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG. The family grows its own grapes and makes wines that capture the character of the hills between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene and the many facets of the Glera grape.
Bellenda reveals Glera through different styles: from the traditional Charmat method to classic bottle fermentation, including wines with and without sediment. The winery was one of the first to bring back to the region the classic Prosecco method that was widely used here until 1930.
No herbicides are used in the vineyards; woodland is preserved for biodiversity, and the estate uses solar energy, recycled glass and packaging from renewable materials.
