Paolo Berta Winery — a family winery since 1842
The Berta family has been making Barbera d'Asti since 1842, keeping the same winemaking philosophy for seven generations. It all began with a few Barbera vines — today the winery is a symbol of history and craftsmanship.
The vineyards lie on the border of Monferrato and Langhe, in the Nizza Monferrato area — a landscape added to the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2014 for its exceptional wine culture.
Famiglia Berta works with the region’s finest varieties — Barbera, Nebbiolo and Cortese. The range includes Nizza Riserva Heritage from vines up to 90 years old, highly rated by critics, as well as the elegant Barbera d’Asti Belmon and an expressive Cortese.
