Lajvér — modern architecture and the character of Szekszárd
Lajvér is a modern wine estate in the Szekszárd region of southern Hungary. The winery combines an expressive local terroir, precise viticulture and a technology-driven approach to winemaking.
Szekszárd’s warm climate and loess soils are especially suited to red varieties. The range is built on Kékfrankos, Kadarka, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and other grapes, made into fresh single-variety wines as well as complex blends.
The winery is built into the hillside, allowing grapes and wine to move gently through each stage of production. Temperature control and careful ageing help preserve fruit, structure and the region’s recognisable style.
